In response to the "Can you run Conan" thread, now comes the true test. Can YOU run Crysis? If so, what settings? (Post your PC spec's here for everyone to swoon over. )

Minimum: Intel Pentium 4 2.8 GHz (3.2 GHz for Vista) or faster, Intel Core 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista) or faster, AMD Athlon 2800+ (3200+ for Vista) or faster.

Minimum: Intel Multi Core: 2.0 GHz (2.2 GHz for Vista)

System RAM
Minimum: 1 GB (Windows Vista requires 1.5GB RAM)

Operating System
Minimum: Windows XP/Vista

Video Card
Minimum: Supported chipsets: NVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT or greater; ATI Radeon 9800 Pro (Radeon X800 Pro for Vista) or greater. Laptop versions of these chipsets may work but are not supported. Integrated chipsets are not supported. Updates to your video and sound card drivers may be required.

DirectX Version
Minimum: 9.0c (included)

Sound Card
Minimum: Yes

Free Disk Space
Minimum: 12 GB

DVD
Minimum: 8X speed DVD-ROM. This game contains technology intended to prevent copying that may conflict with some DVD-ROM, DVD-RW and virtual drives. (Not really needed if you get it as an .iso)

Mobo: nVidia 780i SLI (EVGA)
Vid Cards: 3x 8800 GT's OC'd. (Soon to be 9800 GT's once they come in.)
Sound Card: Sound Blaster X-Fi Platinum
Memory: 8GB 1173 (PC2-9384) 5-5-5-15 RAM.
OS: Vista Ultimae x64
CPU: Intel Core 2 Extreme QX6850 OC'd @ 4.6GHz
PSU: Antec TruePower 1000W (Forget the full spec's, 4x 12v rails)
Cooling: Thermaltake Liquid Cooling. (Big Waters IIRC, peeled the sticker off a long time ago, currently only cooling the CPU since it doesn't fit well with the tri-SLI setup)
Case: Coolermaster (Uhhhh.... no clue what model, plexiglass side pane with the blue LED lights, etc etc)
Monitors: 5x 23" Widescreen HD LCD's. (3 on bottom row, 2 on top. Sometimes switch the KVM to the TV or the projector to play on the adjacent buildings wall. (Oh how it pisses off the neighbors))
KB/Mouse: Some random Logitech wireless setup.

When i was playing the Crysis online beta trial.. I had to run it at low settings on my 7950GX2 geforce.. blahh... i always get the top system components one day and Im bragging and ontop of the epeen world and the next day a beta comes out and puts me back at the bottom...

Posted my basic specs in the other thread, but my PC runs Crysis on full (Except for anti-aliasing) without any lag.

Too bad it hurts your eyes after 10 mins of playing :< The game is rubbish anyway, its only good for the graphics >_>

I can run it on high settings usually, but when it gets really intense I gotta turn it down a bit.

I can probly run it on the lowest settings... that game looks amazing

i guess i can run it on normal but then ill have abit lag and then its not fun.

You can check on this one site, forgot the name though =\. I think GameSpot. It checks the minimum of the game and your comp see what settings are best for you.

I realize that they want to be able to sell the game as a game with awesome graphics but sometimes I think the minimum should be lowered to increase game purchases

Then they make less money, because the better the game, the more money is cost. Same with cars, they don't lower epic cars because they are better.
