Alright, let me start off by saying that this game has obvious Game of the Year potential. Call of Duty drops you into the center of the Middle East as both a British S.A.S soldier, and a U.S. Marine. With the constant threat of a missile launch hanging over your head, the game picks up intensity with every mission. You will snipe, you will infiltrate, you will not sleep. The addictive gameplay keeps you saying 'One more mission'. The ingenuity of the opposing forces combines incredible AI and programming to create one of the most realistic single-players possible. Single-Player The realistic single-player game will keep you on the edge of your seat the whole time you are playing. Is there a terrorist right around the corner waiting for you to round it? Is there a terrorist sneaking up behind you for an easy flank kill? The possibilities of the games artificial intelligence makes every campaign feel like a new one. Granted the main objectives will be the same, most if not all of the enemy tactics will not.
The single-player missions will take you through all parts of the Middle Eastern landscape, running though buildings, blowing up towers, rescuing hostages, you will see it all. Throughout the missions, you will snipe or assault. One mission requires that you sneak through the outskirts of Chernobyl after going back in time to the nuclear meltdown of the mid 1980s. With only your ghillie suit and your silenced sniper for protection you must sneak past guard posts and at one point a whole patrol of Ukrainian forces.
Think you can make a sniper shot from three quarters of a mile? In one of the missions, you are required to make a sniper shot from the top of a 20-story building at a man who is nearly a mile away. Using one of the most comprehensive sniping systems, Infinity Ward has created a realistic sniping simulation that takes wind speed and direction into effect while you are shooting downrange at the to-be terrorist. With only a small flag on the hood of a car, you must judge for yourself when it is appropriate to take the shot. Don't wait to long though, or he will pack up and leave in his armor plated SUV. Multi-Player
Combining the best of all great shooter games, Call of Duty features such game modes as "Sabotage", where you must fight for one central bomb to win the game, and one of our Call of Duty favorites "Headquarters". The game list also contains such FPS classics as Team Death Match and Free-For-All. A new game mode, "Hardcore" increases the damage dealt by all weapons to the point of one shot kills with pistols.
With around thirty guns to choose from, the gameplay of Multi-player can adjust to the type of game you like to play.
