Guitar Hero III/3 (Legends of Rock) - XBox 360 -
03-10-2008
This game is great for solo or two-player gaming, I say this because those are the only things I've done. It only has Guitar and Bass, and if playing with another person, only one person can use each (Bass tends to be easier).

My personal favorite is Miss Murder - AFI from Tier 3, I nearly bought this game just for that one song. 'course, not having an XBox, it was a 'present' for my boyfriend...
By getting a 500+ note streak, you unlock an achievement known as 'Golden Streaker'. I got this one by getting 100% on Miss Murder, on Medium Difficulty.
If you get near the end of 'Through the Fire and Flames - Dragonforce' you get an achievement called 'Almost there' (I got 75% or so on Medium difficulty) sadly, you don't get anything for beating the song on Medium difficulty, though if you get 750,000 points, you unlock an achievement, according to the YouTube video of some little boy beating the song on Expert.

It's great fun, and though addictive, it's not something you want to play so many days in a row, you get bored, but then you start to want to play it again later...
Also, if you play for to long, at the end of every song, your TV looks like it's moving up.

This song was added to Guitar Hero III for one reason: To see how many people were such big GH3 devotees! This song is incredibly hard, and anybody who can manage 100% on it on expert deserves a metal, two cinderblock shoes, and a lake!
It has a TON of notes that your weak little mortal fingers cannot possibly manage at once, and your hands will be dead if you manage to keep up.
This song unlocks multiple achievements if you do well enough, though! More epeen!
My personal record for this song:
Completed with 81% notes hit on Hard difficulty.
Most of that was random strumming and desperate pressing of the buttons, but I managed! Hard as hell, and my hands hurt a lot, but it was fun.

It's not that bad, sure, it's annoying how people like it just because it was on Guitar Hero, but meh, it's a fun song to murder your fingers on.
